Privacy Policy
How we handle the personal information you give us.
Last updated: 25 October 2026.
This policy explains how Peninsula Locksmith ("we", "us") handles personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you call us or send a callback request, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb or address, details of the job, and any other information you choose to give us. Calls may be recorded and logged for quality and record keeping. We also collect basic, non-identifying website usage data through analytics tools.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and arrange the locksmith service you've asked for, to contact you about that job, and to improve our website and service.
Who we share it with
To provide the service, we share your details with the independent locksmith who will carry out the work. We don't sell your information. We may also share information with service providers who help us run the website and phone line, or where required by law.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Some of our service providers may store data outside Australia.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@peninsulalocksmith.com.au.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, email us first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
